Tonight I made lo-mein with my friend Shan. We cut 5 cloves of garlic, one onion, two tbs. of fresh chopped ginger and sauteed it. I boiled some noodles on the side. I added the eggplant and some more oil to fry it, then the mushrooms. Then I added the noodles and several dashes of soy sauce and eventually the broccoli.
For dessert we munched on left over figs from our fig tree. I'm sad it's slowly yielding less.
